LOCATION: Manchester

Duties and Responsibilities of the Director of Sales:
* This is a strategic role where you will be responsible for managing the hotel Sales & Marketing strategy and direction of the sales and marketing function across the hotel with a view to maximising and increasing account revenue for Key Hotel Corporate Accounts, Meeting and Events Sales as well as constantly acquiring new clients.
* You will need to be very commercially aware of the area and new up and coming opportunities.
The Essential Skills:
* The successful applicant will have extensive experience in DOS positions with corporate hotel companies and ideally with local knowledge of the north west region at DOS level.
* A strong background within Meeting & Events Sales will also be required in the 4-star hotel market.
* Ideally with a good foundation of hotel marketing to drive a presence in the area but this will be trained if you meet all the other criteria.
