This stunning hotel retreat in the heart of Liverpool is now looking to further strengthen its team with the following appointment of an experienced Assistant Financial Controller.

As a key member of the Accounts team, the Assistant Financial Controller will
* Assist the Financial Controller to drive Finance Strategies for the Hotel and other projects.
* Supervise the Accounting Team on a day-to-day basis; ensuring that all hotel Finance policies and procedures are followed and that robust control measures are in place.
* Maintain the hotel procurement system, Procure Wizard, and work with Heads of Departments to measure and control costs across all areas of the business, both Operational and capital Expenditure.
* You will be required to work closely with all hotel depts, offering financial advice and support.
* Produce monthly operating statistics, whilst investigating and highlighting areas of concern.
The Essential Skills:
* Extensive experience in assisting with hotel management accounts.
* Strong commercial awareness.
* Solid background working within the hotel industry.
* The successful applicant will be experienced in F & B stock controls and F & B point of sales systems.
* Must have proven ability to supervise a team.
