Banqueting Junior / Sous Chef
My client is a leading 4* hotel and events hotel with large scale banqueting, this role report in the Exec Chef.
The hotel has some of the busiest and best banqueting venues in the area with a plan for new menu concepts and looking forward to a very busy Summer forecasting around 40 weddings and banqueting space up 400cv.
The Role: Junior / Sous Chef
Role Criteria
- The ideal Sous Chef will have previous 3,4 or 5 star hotel experience or worked within quality hotel.
- The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting in maintaining high levels of hygiene and health and safety
- The Sous Chef will be responsible for junior staff development and ensuring high levels of food standards are achieved
- The Sous Chef will be reporting directly into the Head Chef
- Sous Chef must be passionate and the ability to cope under pressure
- The successful Sous Chef will have at least 2 years experience at Chef de Partie level or higher within a similar operation.
- Excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Snr CDP or Junior Sous Chef looking for a progressive and challenging role
