Following a recent career progression, I am working with a well-known hotel brand who are looking for a Director of Sales to play a key role within a 4 star hotel in the Birmingham area.
We are looking for an accomplished, strong leader who has a stable and very steady career to oversee the hotel's Sales & Marketing strategy, directing the sales and marketing team to maximise revenue from Key Hotel Corporate Accounts and Meetings and Events Sales.
Additionally, as Director of Sales, your focus will be on consistently acquiring new clients and maintain a keen commercial awareness of the local area, identifying and capitalising on emerging opportunities.
We are looking for a Director of Sales:
* To bring recent and extensive experience within corporate sales and account management
Ideally from branded hotel companies, preferably with a solid understanding of the West Midlands region.
* A robust background in Meeting & Events Sales within the 4-star hotel market is essential.
* While prior experience in hotel marketing is beneficial, training will be provided for candidates meeting all other criteria.
