An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales & Events Manager to join a young late night bar company based in the West London areas. The client is proud of their strong customer relationships and friendly atmosphere and are looking for experienced Sales & Events Manager who can meet the high standards needed to cover their venues. Due to the demand to servicing their discerning clients, they are looking for like minded individuals who have worked in a similar late night bar/club company with experience in sales & events management to join their team on a permanent basis.
Job Description
As a Sales & Events Manager you will be responsible for:
- Taking telephone calls
- Providing welcoming service to the clientele
- All aspects of guest relations
- Assisting in general enquiries including bookings and eent reservation requests, dealing with enquiries with follow up calls
- Optimising pre booked reservations
- Generating leads with a proactive approach
- Working with brands, Promoters, PR agencies and Corporate clients
- Help assist with regular show rounds and dealing with event enquiries
- Working closely with the Sales & Marketing Director
- Managing a small team including training
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Digital, and Social Media teams to optimise sales strategies and capitalise on opportunities
- Follow company and department procedures
- Having good admin skills
- Help assist the management teams with weekly updates
- Identifying problems and reacting to resolve the issues
The Ideal candidate will be:
- Experienced in a similar sales & marketing management role within the late night bar/club environment or hospitality
- Be able to work within a small team and individually
- Be able to work in a high demanding environment
- Understand looking at strategies and developing new business
- Pays a lot of attention to detail
- Strong understanding of Design my night & Collins software
- Must have high customer service skills with great telephone manners
- Commercially aware of competitors and analysis
- Understand conduct follow-ups on new business opportunities, organise meetings, and deliver compelling pitches and presentations
- Must have an understanding of pre booked revenue & optimising sales
- Used to be proactive & reactive sales
- Being able to act upon different situations in a precise and professional manner
- Experienced in handling all sales & events at a multi site level
- Able to follow clear instructions
- Experienced in handling all sales & events related projects
- Used to dealing with reports
- Being proactive and being able to think on their feet
- Used to dealing with different types of clientele with customer service being the top priority
The ideal candidate will have great organisational skills along with the passion and commitment in driving excellent service to the clientele and a proven track record in a similar late night bar/club as a Sales & Events Manager level.
