Job description & RequirementsYou will already be an experienced Hotel Operations Manager, with previous experience within a 4 Star property, looking for their next challenge.
As Hotel Operations Manager, you will operate and manage the overall day to day activities within the hotel with key focus across the FOH and F&B operation, maintaining the highest levels of Guest Service at all times, ensuring a smooth Guest Journey is delivered during all points of their guests visit from arrival to departure.You will identify and maximise all sales opportunities and develop your team to do the same.
This is a key position within the business, so the successful candidate must be extremely hard working, dedicated and committed to go the extra mile for their guests, a real people's person, but very much hands-on as this is not an office role.
Part of a family-owned hotel, the property boasts around 50 rooms with on-site dining options and event spaces.
- Experience within a 4* environment
- Recruit, train and develop a motivated, attentive and service driven team.
- Solid understanding of F&B, current trends and developing and driving the offer to reflect the business and its clientele.
- Continually monitor the quality of standards
- Oversee all departments within the hotel on a daily basis, assisting department heads in maintaining a smooth operation.
- Responsible for ensuring the highest standards of Health, Safety & Hygiene across all departments
- Monitor and maintain existing F&B control systems ensuring correct sales targets and profit levels are achieved and maintained.
- Maintain excellent guest relations at all times, seeking feedback to ensure their requirements are always met and their experience within the hotel is to the highest standard.
- Liaise and work closely with senior operations, marketing and revenue departments to continually strive to achieve revenue and GOP targets, maximising all sales opportunities, whilst controlling key operational costs, updating your team regularly on how their departments are performing.
- Ensure the security of cash, stock and company property are managed
- Carry out regular audits within all departments ensuring standards are being met, and action plans completed to address any concerns.
