An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join a growing hospitality brand based in the London Areas. The client is proud of their strong customer relationships and friendly atmosphere and are looking for experienced Finance Manager who can meet the high standards of the client. Due to the demand to servicing their discerning clients, they are looking for like minded individuals who have worked in a similar finance role to join their team on a permanent basis.
Job Description
As a Finance Manager you will be responsible for:
- Gather & monitor financial data
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements
- Data analysis on balance sheets and income statements
- Running the day to day accounts for the CEO
- Forecast costs and revenues
- Building up your new team
- Have a similar finance background within a hospitality background
- Working closely with the Marketing Director & CEO
- Manage tax payments
- Compiling and distributing financial and statistical information
- Organise internal audits
- Coming up with creative ideas to improve the finance department
- Dealing with different stakeholders
- Prepare budgets for the entire company and by department
- Conduct detail risk analysis
- Perform month end and year end close processes
- Monitoring performance
- Help manage all financial campaigns with the team .
The Ideal candidate will be:
- Experienced in a similar financial Controller/Finance Manager role within a similar hospitality company
- Be able to work manage a small team and individually
- Work towards finance targets set by the senior financial team including the CEO & Directors
- Be able to work in a high demanding environment
- Used to dealing with varies spreadsheets
- Help manage and assist with all financial campaigns
- Have at least 2/3 years experience in finance preferably in a restaurant background
- Ideally understand the hospitality market
- Ideally member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants or similar
- Experience in managing budgets
- Being able to act upon different situations in a precise and professional manner
- Able to follow clear instructions
- Experience in working in a high demanding environment
- Able to present to the board of Directors
- Good telephone manners
- Used to dealing with third parties
- Used to dealing with reports
- Being proactive and being able to think on their feet
The ideal candidate will have great organisational skills along with the passion and commitment in driving excellent service to the clientele and a proven track record in the finance sector.
