An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales & Events Executive to join an independent late night bar group in the heart of the West End. The client is proud of their strong customer relationships and friendly atmosphere and are looking for experienced Sales & Events Executive who can meet the high standards of the client. Due to the demand to servicing their discerning clients, they are looking for like minded individuals who have worked in a similar sales & Events role to join their team on a permanent basis.
Job Description
As a Sales & Events Executive you will be responsible for:
- Manage the database
- All aspects of guest relations
- Assisting in general enquiries including bookings, giving quotes, invoicing and general duties
- Conducting end of day reports
- Maximising the booking spaces
- Attending private hire events & hosting
- Follow company and department procedures
- Having good admin skills
- Pre selling packages on food & drink
- Hitting daily & weekly targets
- Regular competitor analysis on different offers and promotions
- Regular show rounds and events quotes
- Help assist and support Co - workers
- Identifying problems and reacting to resolve the issues
The Ideal candidate will be:
- Experienced in a similar sales & events role within high end restaurant or bar or hotel within hospitality
- Be able to work within a small team and individually
- MUST be expeerienced in a similar proactive sales role
- Work towards sales targets set by the sales and events team
- Be able to work in a high demanding environment
- Being able to act upon different situations in a precise and professional manner
- Able to follow clear instructions
- Flexible to working at least one weekend a month
- Good Telephone manners
- Used to dealing with reports
- Being proactive and being able to think on their feet
- Used to dealing with different types of clientele with customer service being the top priority
The ideal candidate will have great organisational skills along with the passion and commitment in driving excellent service to the clientele and a proven track record in a sales office environment.
