ROLE: Hotel Reception Supervisor
LOCATION: Cheltenham area
SALARY: £25,500 per year, depending upon experience
Our client is a luxury 4-star independent golf & leisure hotel located in the idyllic Gloucestershire countryside.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Reception Supervisor who can lead their team to provide the very best guest experience at all times, from arrival to departure.
* You will be part of a team that curates unforgettable experiences for guests seeking relaxation, recreation, and sophistication.
* This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week over 5 days to include a mixture of early shifts from 7.30am - 3pm and late shifts from 2.30pm - 11pm. This will include weekends on a rota basis - something you will be responsible for.
* As a Reception Supervisor, you'll lead a group of dedicated front desk associates, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment that encourages growth and innovation.
* Lead the front desk team by example, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process, handling guest inquiries, and maintaining a high standard of service.
* Be the face of hospitality. Welcome guests with warmth, address their needs, and exceed their expectations to create lasting memories.
* Manage reservations, handle billing, and maintain accurate records to ensure seamless operations.
* Collaborate with various departments to ensure a seamless guest experience, and effectively communicate any special requests or arrangements.
Personal qualities required are:
* Knowledge of Reslynx will be an advantage but not essential if you have used other similar hotel systems.
* Previous experience of supervising a shift with your reception team at Supervisor or Shift leader level
* Ideally from a 4-star hotel environment and able to work early and late shifts are essential.
* Be self-driven, able to work within a team and be willing to be always 'hands-on.'
