JWR are looking for a Hotel Reception Team Leader for a luxury 4-star independent Hotel with Golf & Leisure, situated just outside the beautiful city of Cheltenham,
We are looking for a Hotel Reception Team Leader or Supervisor, who can offer a memorable, pleasant experience for guests seeking relaxation, recreation, and sophistication during their stay..
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week over 5 days to include a mixture of early shifts from 7.30am - 3pm and late shifts from 2.30pm - 11pm. This will include weekends and will be on a rota basis.As Reception Team Leader, we would like you to manage a small team to ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process, handling guest enquiries and maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Lead the team to welcome guests with warmth & friendliness and exceed their expectations to create lasting memories.
- We need someone who has previous experience of taking bedroom reservations, handle the billing of services used in the hotel, create guest invoices, take payment and maintain accurate records to avoid delay at checkout.
- Work with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience and effectively communicate any special requests or arrangements our guests need.
We will need you to have :
- Knowledge of Reslynx but not essential if you have used other similar hotel systems.
- Previous experience of supervising or supporting a reception team in the absence of a manager and this will suit a receptionist looking for career progression
- Worked before in a 4-star hotel environment and able to work early and late shifts.
- The ability to work within a team and be willing to be always 'hands-on.'
