An exciting opportunity has arisen for Experienced Sous Chef to join an expanding fresh food pub company in the in the in the Benfleet Essex areas. The pub offers great food with regular menu changes. The client and is proud of their strong customer relationships and friendly atmosphere. They are looking for an experienced Sous Chef who can deliver the highest levels of quality food their refined customers. They are looking for like-minded individuals who have worked in similar upmarket independent fresh food pub/restaurant with experience at Sous Chef level to join their team on a permanent basis.

REQUIREMENTS

• Passion for cooking with creative ingredients
• A leader not a boss
• A creative flair
• Managing a large team of up to 10+
• MUST have fresh food experience
• Used to working in a quality fresh food environment
• Likes to train and develop others
• Must be able to deal with daily/weekly and seasonal menu changes
• Likes to be hands on and lead the team from the front
• Experience with GP, costing, wastage management, ordering, stock etc..
• Strong health & safety knowledge
• A stable work history
