Head of MICE & Wedding Sales - Hertfordshire / Bedfordshire border - to £60K + Commission + 33 days holiday + Pension + Private + Gym + Parking.
* Salary IRO £60K + Bonus.

* My client is a 175bed - 4* hotel and events venue with high profile and massively prestigious C&B and conference and wedding facilities - part of a international hospitality and leisure operator, with sites across EMEA, the US and Asia - Pacific.
* Renowned for incredible food, conferencing, weddings with with facilities featuring in numerous films and TV series.
* Built its reputation in the area on its quality friendly staff and highly professional approach.The remuneration:
To £60K + Commission + 33 days holiday + Pension + Private Healthcare + Gym + Parking.
The Job:
* Outbound and planning, with the DOS, the growth strategy for high profile multi day conferences, weddings, exclusive uses, celebrations and live and ticketed events etc
- Managing, motivating and providing direction for the MICE & Weddings sales team.
- Company representation at trade events and new client engagement and development.
- Bringing forward ideas for future projects and initiatives in new growth sectors.
The Essential Skills:
* Strong MICE Sales experience for at least 5-10yrs within the MICE / conference and wedding sectors, ideally in and around London and the Home Counties with experience dealing with clients from International markets especially the US, China, India and Europe.
* Experience of managing & developing strong relationships with key clients and suppliers in the conference and wedding sectors
* Excellent client knowledge in the London and Home Counties areas.
