An exciting opportunity has arisen for Experienced Head Chef to join an expanding fresh food modern European fine dining restaurant within a luxury hotel company in the West End areas. The restaurant offers great food with regular seasonal menu changes serving breakfast, lunch and A La Carte dining. The client and is proud of their strong customer relationships and friendly atmosphere. They are looking for an experienced Head Chef who can deliver the highest levels of quality food their refined customers. They are looking for like-minded individuals who have worked in similar upmarket fresh food restaurants or luxury hotels with experience at Head Chef & above level to join their team on a permanent basis.

REQUIREMENTS

• Passion for cooking with creative ingredients
• A leader not a boss
• A creative flair
• Managing a large team of up to 8+
• MUST have fresh food experience in hotels or quality restaurants
• Used to working in a fast paced environment, lunch and A La Carte dishes
• Understands all about flavours, textures, attention to detail and elegant plating
• Maintain very high kitchen standards and dishes are executed flawlessly
• Likes to train and develop others
• Used to dealing with over 300+ covers daily
• Help innovate new dishes & is up to speed with culinary trends
• Must be able to deal with daily/weekly and seasonal menu changes
• Likes to be hands on and lead the team from the front
• Experience with GP, costing, wastage management, ordering, stock control is a must
• Strong health & safety knowledge
• A stable work history
