The ideal candidate will come from an extensive fine dining background, with a deep understanding and passion for British cuisine, complemented by strong creative culinary skills and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Menu Development: Curate and execute an innovative and seasonal menu, focusing on British cuisine, while incorporating creative flair and fine dining techniques.
• Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and develop a passionate kitchen team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages growth, creativity, and professionalism.
• Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including stock control, ordering, and maintaining health and safety standards.
• Quality Control: Ensure consistency and excellence in every dish that leaves the kitchen, maintaining the highest culinary standards.
• Training and Development: Mentor junior chefs, guiding their career development and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef in a 3AA Rosettes or above, or Michelin-starred kitchens, with a strong focus on British cuisine.
• Exceptional culinary creativity and a keen eye for detail in presentation and flavor.
• Inspiring leadership skills with experience managing and motivating a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for using locally-sourced, high-quality ingredients and a deep understanding of British food traditions.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while maintaining a positive and productive kitchen environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A great team spirit and commitment to fostering a supportive and collaborative kitchen culture.
