Cluster Director of Sales - Exeter
JWR is recruiting for a resilient, results-driven sales leader with a passion for hospitality who can bring their expertise and shape the future of two iconic hotels in Exeter area.

Salary / Package

  • Salary from £50,000 DOE

About the Role:
As the Cluster Director of Sales, you'll lead proactive sales strategies for two leading hotels in the Exeter area. Reporting to the Head of Sales and Hotel General Managers, this role is all about building relationships and driving revenue across Corporate, Leisure and MICE markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to recommend and implement strategic sales initiatives.
  • Build and nurture customer accounts to drive business across both hotels.
  • Negotiate contracts and room rates with corporate clients.
  • Develop innovative local marketing campaigns, including leveraging social media.
  • Attend sales events and network to increase market share in all revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with hotel teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
  • Produce accurate reports for senior management, including business leads and appointment tracking.

About You:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in Senior Sales position, with strong knowledge of local Corporate, Leisure and MICE markets.
  • Leadership: Skilled at navigating multiple management levels without direct team supervision.
  • Resilience: Hardworking, adaptable, and thrives under pressure.
  • Ambition: Eager to set high standards and achieve market leadership.
  • Personality: Genuine, positive, and committed to guest satisfaction.
