Wedding Coordinator - Luxury Wedding Venue - Near Hereford / Welsh Border- Live in Available
Luxury and boutique Wedding venue near the Hereford / Brecon Beacon Border looking for a Wedding Coordinator to join the team and lead the establishment forward in excellence.
The ideal Wedding Coordinator person should:
* Have experience of coordinating and organising weddings for a very busy boutique wedding venue as this is a very reactive role.
* Have great customer Service skills, good work ethic and enjoy being part of a family run and close-knit team.
* Meeting and greeting the Wedding Couples, carrying out show rounds of the venue as well as coordinating details of their special day and creating a function sheet to pass to operations team.
* For weddings and other events, you will be involved as a valued member of the full-time team as Duty Manager in helping to ensure that a high standard of service is always maintained, which will include setting up the venue, checking out couples, assisting on weddings and supporting in the restaurant and bar.
* This will often involve evening work; however, this role will be predominantly Monday - Friday with a flexibility to work outside of these times to conduct showrounds and meet with bridal couples.
In return, the hotel can offer:
* A salary up to £25,000 per year dependent upon experience, plus there is accommodation in a nearby 4-bedroom house if you are relocating to the area.
* Hours of Work - The job involves a 45-hour week over the course of five days, this can be a combination of 3 days in hotel, manning the phones and 2 days as Duty Manager, supporting the operation and also to conduct appointments for your bridal couples including showrounds OR Working 11.5 hours a day for 4 days Thursday to Sunday.
* You will need to have access to your own car as we are in a rural location.
