ROLE: Restaurant Manager - Casual Dining Restaurant
LOCATION: Keswick, Cumbria, Lake District
SALARY: £32,000 per year plus Bonus & Paid overtime over 45 hours worked.

A Country House Hotel within the Lake District is seeking a Restaurant Manager to manage the daily operation of this casual dining restaurant.

A great personality is key for this role with a warmth and ability to build rapport quickly with staff and guests.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading & motivating the restaurant team. They will drive the highest levels of customer service in this luxurious venue.

The Essential Skills:
* Recent experience as a Restaurant Manager in a busy Gastropub or casual dining restaurant
or hotel; however, would consider a very strong Assistant Restaurant Manager with a proven background looking for their first Managerial role
* Be an excellent motivator with strong leadership skills
* Able to deal with peak time rushes and high volume especially with afternoon teas
* Career-minded and ambitious, with a desire to succeed
* Ability to train, develop and nurture your team and for them to achieve great success
* Ability to welcome guests and ensure that they are satisfied at all times

The Desirable Skills:
* Strong leader with previous experience of managing a dedicated team.
* Have the ability to motivate and drive success of your team and department.
* Remain calm throughout busy service, ensuring that guests feel like they are special and not rushed throughout their dining experience.
* Schedule staff working hours to match the business needs.
* Immaculate appearance and personality to match
* Makes decisions & solves problems concerning menus & staff.
