Location: Near Bedford, Bedfordshire

We're looking for a talented individual to lead the maintenance operations at our beautiful, resort-style hotel, offering premium leisure and spa facilities in the Bedford area.
About the Role
As Maintenance Manager, you'll be responsible for the upkeep and smooth operation of the hotel's facilities - from guest rooms and public areas to spa, pool, and leisure amenities. This is a proactive and varied role, ideal for someone with both technical know-how and the ability to effectively plan, prioritise and lead day-to-day maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all planned and reactive maintenance duties across the property
Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
Lead and motivate a small maintenance team to deliver consistently high standards
Liaise with contractors and suppliers where needed
Implement and maintain maintenance schedules and logs
Act quickly and efficiently to resolve guest-impacting issues
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a hotel or hospitality maintenance role
Trade skills (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or similar) desirable
Sound knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards
Strong task scheduling and project coordination skills
A hands-on, positive, can-do approach to daily challenges
Ability to work calmly and confidently under pressure
