Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for meetings, events, and accommodation.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate clients and agencies.
  • Attend and represent the hotel at local and national events.
  • Negotiate client contracts, ensuring profitable and long-term agreements.
  • Lead sales activities across all market segments.
  • Regularly report sales activities and achievements to senior management.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead in the industry.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to ensure consistent client communication.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in a sales role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in market research and competitor analysis.
  • Familiarity with corporate sales strategies and client management.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all services provided are charged accurately and payments processed.
  • Participate in health and safety protocols, including acting as a fire marshal when on-site.
