Head Housekeeper
Luxury Hotel - Gloucestershire
JWR is proud to be working with a luxury 5-star hotel in the Cotswolds to recruit an experienced and dynamic Head Housekeeper. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious property renowned for its exceptional standards, elegant interiors, and world-class hospitality.

The Role
As Head Housekeeper, you will lead and inspire the housekeeping team to deliver immaculate rooms and public areas, ensuring that every guest enjoys a flawless stay.
You will take ownership of the department, overseeing daily operations, managing budgets, rotas, and stock control while driving consistency, efficiency, and a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and motivate the housekeeping team to the highest standards.
  • Ensure all guest rooms and public spaces are maintained to luxury 5-star quality.
  • Manage department budgets, stock ordering, and cost control effectively.
  • Implement and monitor housekeeping procedures, ensuring compliance with health & safety and brand standards.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to enhance guest experience.
  • Drive performance, efficiency, and service improvements through effective leadership.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head Housekeeper or Assistant Head Housekeeper within a luxury hotel environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a large team.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a hands-on, guest-focused approach.
  • Strong organisational and financial management skills.
  • A proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-end environment.
