A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Manager to join a stunning 20-bedroom boutique hotel renowned for its exceptional fine dining restaurant, award-winning service, and elegant afternoon teas.
This is the perfect role for a Restaurant Manager or strong Assistant Restaurant Manager ready to take the next step within the luxury country house and fine dining sector.
The Role
Lead and inspire a talented front-of-house team, ensuring service excellence at every touchpoint.
Maintain and enhance the hotel's 2/3 Rosette-level dining experience, working closely with the Head Chef and management team.
Oversee the delivery of à la carte, tasting menus, and afternoon tea service to the highest standards.
Drive guest satisfaction, training, and team engagement to create memorable dining experiences.
Manage service standards, team scheduling, and operational budgets effectively.
Act as an ambassador for the property, upholding its reputation for quality, warmth, and style.
About You
Proven background within luxury fine dining restaurants or boutique country house hotels in the UK.
Currently a Restaurant Manager or ambitious Assistant Restaurant Manager ready to step up.
Strong leadership and team development skills with a "lead from the front" attitude.
Passionate about fine food, wine, and exceptional guest service.
Knowledge of 2/3 Rosette operations and afternoon tea service essential.
Warm, professional, and highly organised, with excellent communication skills.
The Offer
Competitive base salary £36,000 - £38,000
£5,000 - £7,000 service charge per annum
