Maintenance Manager - 4* Lifestyle Hotel
We are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the Engineering function within a design-led 4* hotel. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for delivering full statutory compliance, asset protection and operational excellence across all building systems.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will take ownership of:
Full PPM and reactive maintenance programmes
HVAC, M&E, plumbing, plant rooms and building fabric
Fire Life Safety, Legionella and Health & Safety compliance
Contractor management, RAMS approval and service contracts
Departmental budgeting and cost control
Capital works, refurbishments and snagging
Maintaining brand standards and audit readiness
You will lead and develop the maintenance team, drive performance, and work closely with Heads of Department to ensure minimal disruption to guest experience.
About You
Proven experience as a Hotel Maintenance Manager (4* / 5* preferred)
Strong hands-on technical background across building services
Solid knowledge of UK H&S, Fire Safety and Water Hygiene regulations
Experience managing contractors and maintenance budgets
Commercially aware, organised and solutions-driven
