JWR is delighted to be partnering with a leading resort hotel in the search for an ambitious and hands-on Hotel Operations Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a large-scale hospitality operation featuring over 90 bedrooms, extensive leisure facilities, multiple food and beverage outlets and a thriving conference and events business.
Working closely with the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence across the hotel, with a particular focus on delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences whilst maintaining high standards throughout all departments.

The Role
As Hotel Operations Manager, you will provide day-to-day leadership across the hotel, ensuring exceptional service standards, strong commercial performance and outstanding guest satisfaction.
Whilst overseeing all operational departments, your expertise within Food & Beverage will be key in driving standards, profitability and guest experience across restaurants, bars, banqueting and events operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the daily operation of the hotel alongside the General Manager
- Driving performance across food & beverage, rooms, leisure and events
- Managing and developing Heads of Department and departmental teams
- Maximising guest satisfaction and service delivery
- Supporting conference, banqueting and events operations
- Controlling labour costs, productivity and departmental profitability
- Delivering budgeted revenue and financial targets
- Ensuring compliance, health & safety and operational best practice standards
The Candidate
We are keen to speak with candidates who possess:
- Current experience as a Hotel Operations Manager, Deputy General Manager, Food & Beverage Manager or Hotel Manager
- A strong all-round operational background with a clear Food & Beverage bias
- Experience within a quality hotel, resort or conference-led operation
- Strong leadership and people development skills
- Commercial awareness and financial understanding
- A hands-on approach and passion for guest experience
- The ambition to progress into a Hotel Manager or General Manager position
