Salary: £35,000 per year + approximately £3,000-£5,000 per year in Tronc + Excellent Benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sous Chef to join the culinary team at this award-winning luxury resort in the West Midlands.
With multiple dining outlets, high-volume banqueting, weddings and events, a strong focus on fresh, seasonal produce and a strong reputation for quality food, this is a fantastic opportunity to work within a diverse and busy kitchen operation.
Working closely with the Head Chef and Executive Head Chef, you will play a key role in maintaining exceptional food standards while supporting, developing and leading a talented kitchen brigade.* Assist with seasonal menu development and implementation
* Help manage stock control, food costs, and kitchen budgets
* Maintain food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards
* Train, support, and develop junior chefs within the team
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef de Partie ready to step up within a quality-led hospitality environment
* Passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients
* Strong leadership skills with a calm and organised approach
* Commercial awareness with understanding of food cost and stock control
This position would suit an established Sous Chef or an ambitious Senior Chef de Partie looking to take the next step in their career within a quality-driven hospitality environment with the opportunity to develop and progress in the future within the Company.
