Front Office Manager - 4* Hotel - Global Brand - Oxford - to £30K
Our client is a 4* hotel, part of a global chain with 100rm hotel, conference and leisure facilities close to Oxford.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Front Office Manager who can lead your team of 5 to provide the very best guest experience at all times, from arrival to departure.
We need a resilient Front Office Manager who deal with the everyday issues that can be faced in Front Office and therefore you need to be very organised and have a good eye for detail within a resort hotel.
* You will be managing the daily operation and coordination of front of house operations, setting up FO procedures to ensure a smooth shift every time, able to manage requests for various room types without disappointing the guest and processing all bookings via central reservations paying attention to detail.
* You will need to have experience of managing and analysing guest satisfaction levels.
* Maximise room occupancy, recognising guests needs to promote hotel services and in-house facilities i.e. Restaurant, Health Spa & Golf.
* Setting of departmental objectives, policies and targets and rotas
* Ensure Team Members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and policies, as well as knowledge of the local area.
* Communicating with Management regarding employee and customer service issues
The Essential Skills:
Personal qualities required are:
* Previous experience of managing a small Reception & Nights team at Reception or Front Office Manager level.
* Must be from a 4* hotel environment and able to work early and late shifts, working 5 days out of 7.
* Be self-driven, able to work within a team and be willing to be 'hands-on' at all times.
* Knowledge of Opera will be an advantage.
* Be an excellent team player whilst having first class attention to detail and remain calm head when everyone around you is losing theirs.
