Salary: Up to £52,000 per annum

Are you an experienced and talented Head Chef with a passion for fine dining and a strong background in banqueting? We are seeking a hands-on, dynamic Head Chef to lead the kitchen team and take the culinary offerings to the next level.

About the Role:
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation, menu development, and effective control over kitchen operations. You will have a strong focus on maintaining consistency, leading by example, and developing a motivated, skilled kitchen team. Your expertise in fine dining and banqueting will be key to delivering an exceptional culinary experience for both small and large events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and consistency at all times
• Lead the creation and development of innovative, seasonal menus
• Control food costs, manage stock, and ensure the profitability of the kitchen through efficient GP control
• Provide hands-on leadership, guiding, mentoring, and training a team of chefs
• Work collaboratively with front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests
• Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene standards are met in the kitchen
• Manage banqueting operations and special events, ensuring seamless execution
• Foster a positive and creative kitchen environment that encourages continuous learning and improvement

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in a Head Chef or senior kitchen role, with accolades or a fine dining background
• Strong understanding of banqueting operations and high-volume food production
• Hands-on leader with excellent kitchen management and team-building skills
• Proficient in menu development, cost control, and kitchen operations
• Passionate about food quality, creativity, and consistency
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
