The Opportunity:
As Managing Director, you'll take the helm of a high-profile operation, overseeing a large, diverse team and driving strategic direction, operational excellence, and commercial performance. You'll work closely with stakeholders from government, corporate, media, and event partners to shape the future of the events industry in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inspirational leadership across all departments including operations, commercial, marketing, finance, and guest services.
- Drive strategic growth through partnerships, innovation, and sustainability initiatives.
- Champion a culture of excellence, inclusion, and customer focus.
- Oversee the planning and delivery of large-scale events, ensuring world-class standards and operational efficiency.
- Represent the venue at board level, with full P&L accountability and reporting responsibilities.

- Proven senior leadership experience in a complex, high-volume environment (e.g. events, venues, hospitality, entertainment, or leisure).
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of revenue growth and stakeholder management.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and crisis management skills.
