We're recruiting on behalf of a leading UK-based event venue that prides itself on diversity and innovation. The Business Development Manager Package
- A basic salary of £54'000
- Bonus scheme to be discussed

About the Role:
As the Business Development Manager, you'll take the lead in identifying, securing, and nurturing new business opportunities across corporate, private, and community sectors. Your role will be pivotal in elevating the venue's market profile and maximising revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively source and secure new business from corporate clients, agencies, and community groups
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of leads across multiple event sectors
- Develop tailored pitches and proposals to meet client needs
- Work closely with the marketing and events teams to align outreach with brand and operational capabilities
- Attend industry networking events and trade shows to boost visibility
- Maintain long-term client relationships and ensure exceptional customer experience
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within events, hospitality, or venues
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Passion for events and understanding of different audience needs (corporate, creative, community)
- Confident communicator with a professional yet approachable style
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with diverse audiences and commitment to inclusivity
