Are you a strategic and hands-on sales manager with a passion for live events and client relationships? We're working with a well-established and versatile UK event venue known for hosting everything from high-profile corporate functions to cultural showcases and private celebrations.
We're on the lookout for a dynamic Sales Manager who can lead the sales function, drive commercial growth, and elevate the venue's profile across diverse markets.
The Sales Manager Package
- A basic salary of £39'500

The role
As Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the venue's sales strategy - generating new business, nurturing key accounts, and working closely with marketing and operations to ensure seamless client delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a proactive sales strategy to increase bookings across corporate, private, and public event sectors
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads, ensuring consistent revenue growth
- Lead on client pitches, proposals, and contract negotiations
- Oversee key accounts and provide exceptional client service
- Collaborate with the events and marketing teams to align on product offering and campaigns
- Report on KPIs and provide insights to senior management
- Represent the venue at industry networking events, trade shows, and exhibitions
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in sales within the events, hospitality, or venue management sector
- Strong understanding of B2B and B2C sales cycles
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Results-driven with a track record of exceeding revenue targets
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple client relationships
- Confident, personable, and passionate about events
- Comfortable working across diverse clients - from global brands to local community organisers
