The Role:
As Senior Sous Chef, you'll support the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene. You will contribute to the creation of innovative menus, mentor junior kitchen staff, and help maintain a positive and productive kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in menu development with a focus on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients
- Lead and motivate the kitchen brigade alongside the Head Chef
- Uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance with hygiene regulations
- Maintain efficient kitchen operations and smooth service delivery
- Minimise waste while maximising creativity and quality
- Deliver consistent, high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef, Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef within a high-quality, fresh food kitchen
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Passionate, hands-on and self-motivated
- Proven track record of delivering excellence under pressure
- Up to date with modern food trends and culinary innovation
- A team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail
