Our client is a leading, multi award winning property - seeking a dedicated and passionate Sous Chef to join the senior kitchen team.

Why This Role Stands Out:
Leadership and Growth:- As one of two Sous Chefs, you'll be a cornerstone of our kitchen team, leading a brigade of approximately 15 chefs and kitchen porters. Your leadership will set the tone for service, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Farm-to-Fork Excellence:
- Work closely with the Head Chef to create dishes that showcase ingredients grown, reared, and foraged on the estate. This is a unique chance to work with the freshest, highest-quality produce, elevating each ingredient to its fullest potential.
Collaborative Environment:
- Partner with the Restaurant Manager to ensure seamless collaboration between kitchen and front of house, enhancing the overall guest experience.
Professional Development:
- Take joint responsibility for recruitment, training, team development, and retention. This role offers ample opportunities for professional growth and skill enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head Chef in managing a productive, cost-efficient kitchen through effective staffing, forecasting, and sales analysis.
- Ensure consistently exceptional food quality and presentation, always seeking ways to enhance the guest experience.
- Champion high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation across the kitchen.
Represent the business professionally, maintaining an impeccable appearance and attitude for yourself and your team.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum of two years' experience a in a luxury hotel or restaurant.
- Natural leadership abilities with excellent communication and people skills.
- Highly organised, self-driven, and adaptable to a fast-evolving environment.
- Genuine passion for food, drink, and exceptional hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of seasonal produce and a creative approach to developing dishes using estate-grown and foraged ingredients.
