We're recruiting on behalf of a prestigious international brand of luxury aparthotels known for delivering elegant, elevated stays in vibrant city locations. As Groups & Events Sales Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the reactive sales function, leading a high-performing team and converting opportunities into exceptional guest experiences.What You'll Be Doing
Take the Lead: Oversee the reactive Groups & Events team, guiding the enquiry process from initial contact to conversion.
Inspire & Motivate: Manage a small but mighty team, fostering a high-performance culture and working closely with on-property teams across the portfolio.
Player-Coach Mindset: Step in on VIP and high-value enquiries, demonstrating best-in-class sales techniques.
Refine & Elevate: Develop and implement SOPs and training materials that enhance the entire guest journey.
Drive Insight: Work with the Global Head of Groups & Events to track trends, analyse performance and unlock revenue growth.
Delight Guests: Champion a guest-first mindset, delivering tailored experiences that exceed expectations.
Ensure Continuity: Coordinate seamless handovers between sales and planning teams to ensure a smooth, spectacular event experience.
Optimise Processes: Maintain clean, accurate data across platforms, ensuring efficiency at every stage.
Share Knowledge: Support team development through hands-on training and coaching.
Collaborate Across Functions: Liaise with Sales, Revenue, and Operations teams to align on strategy and goals.

What We're Looking For
Proven leadership experience in a reactive Groups & Events or hospitality sales role
Strong commercial acumen with a passion for data, reporting and conversion metrics
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills-you're a natural relationship-builder
Experience with CRM or hotel booking systems (Opera, Delphi, Salesforce or similar)
Ability to juggle multiple priorities while keeping calm under pressure
A guest-centric mindset with a sharp eye for detail and quality
A collaborative, curious personality-always ready to learn, support, and grow
