The role
You'll lead a busy and dynamic bar and restaurant operation, ensuring an exceptional guest experience every day. This role is hands-on, requiring strong leadership and a passion for hospitality.
Key responsibilities include:- Leading and motivating a team of F&B assistants to deliver excellent customer service.
- Managing staff rotas to ensure appropriate coverage during busy periods.
- Upskilling your team in service and up-selling techniques.
- Monitoring food and beverage stock, minimising waste, and managing operational costs.
- Handling guest feedback and resolving issues confidently and professionally.
- Creating a positive team culture where performance and guest satisfaction go hand-in-hand.
Requirements
You'll need to be a confident and experienced manager with a proven track record in a busy hospitality setting. You should be comfortable managing a team in high-pressure environments and passionate about delivering memorable guest experiences.
Ideal qualities and experience:- Strong leadership, training, and people-management skills.
- Experience in food and beverage service, including opening, service, and closing operations.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to drive profitable growth.
- Knowledge of stock control, health and safety regulations, and compliance procedures.
- Adaptability and availability to work weekends and bank holidays as part of a flexible rota.
