The Operations Manager Role
As Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Leading and motivating a team across reception, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Ensuring service excellence, guest satisfaction, and compliance with brand standards.
- Coaching and developing Heads of Department and their teams.
- Managing budgets, financial reviews, and performance reporting.
- Driving quality improvements and operational efficiency.
- Building strong guest relationships, ensuring service delivery is warm, professional, and consistent.
- Promoting a sustainable and positive workplace culture.
Candidate Profile
We're looking for someone who is:
- A strong leader, able to inspire and develop teams.
- Experienced in hospitality operations, ideally within resorts, hotels, or leisure environments.
- Used to working with structured procedures and quality standards.
- Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working weekends/holidays when needed.
- Fluent in English and French (essential).
- Energetic, positive, and customer-centric with outstanding communication skills.
- This role could suit a rising star stepping into their first Operations Manager position or an established manager ready for a fresh challenge.
The Team
- You'll be leading three core departments, each with its own Head of Department:
- Reception: Head of Reception + 6 reception team members
- Maintenance: Head of Maintenance + 2 maintenance staff
- Housekeeping: Head of Housekeeping + supervisor, 7 housekeepers, 2 valets
