We're seeking an accomplished Finance Manager / Financial Controller to take full ownership of the finance function at our highly regarded 4-star hotel in Birmingham. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll partner closely with the General Manager and ownership, playing a key part in both daily operations and long-term commercial strategy.

If you're someone who thrives on accuracy, enjoys turning numbers into actionable insights, and takes pride in keeping processes watertight, this could be the move you've been waiting for.

What You'll Be Doing

* Full responsibility for P&L management across the hotel portfolio
* Managing end-to-end payroll for all employees
* Delivering month-end and year-end accounts with precision
* Preparing and coordinating the annual audit process
* Maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring compliance at every step

What You'll Bring

* Proven experience in hotel self-accounting (single or multi-property)
* Strong track record in month-end reporting and audit delivery
* Confidence with systems such as Opera, Fourth Payroll, Sage Line 50, and Sales & Catering tools
* A commercial mindset - you go beyond the numbers to influence performance
* Flexibility to travel once a month to support another site
