This beautifully preserved property, operating successfully for over 175 years, combines classic charm with modern hospitality. With 35 stylish bedrooms, a contemporary 50-cover brasserie, and two inviting bars, this hotel is renowned for its warm service, welcoming atmosphere, and outstanding guest experience.- Package - Salary from £40,000+ DOE

 - Responsibilities 
 As Deputy General Manager, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of all departments - from front of house to food and beverage operations - while upholding the property's exceptional standards of hospitality and service.- Oversee daily hotel and restaurant operations, ensuring a consistently high level of service and guest satisfaction.
- Lead, train, and motivate a long-serving and dedicated team across departments.
- Support the General Manager with financial performance, budgets, and operational targets.
- Maintain excellent communication between front-of-house, kitchen, and housekeeping teams.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Deliver hands-on leadership during busy service periods.
- Support menu development and food quality standards in collaboration with the Head Chef.
 
 Requirements- Minimum of three years' management or supervisory experience within a quality hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong front-of-house and restaurant management background.
- Kitchen/F&B training or practical experience desirable.
- A people-focused leader with excellent social and communication skills.
- Passionate about hospitality, guest experience, and team development.
- Thrives in a hands-on role and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
