IMMEDIATE START
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly professional Banqueting Head Waiter to join our 5-star luxury hotel team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in premium hospitality, specifically within luxury hotels or high-end banqueting venues. This role requires flexibility, mobility, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service at every event.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the floor service for all banqueting events, ensuring seamless, 5-star hospitality delivery.
Supervise and support the banqueting service team, providing direction and hands-on assistance during service.
Ensure all event setups-including table plans, staging, service areas, and equipment-meet hotel and brand standards.
Liaise with the Banqueting Manager, Events team, and Culinary team to ensure flawless event execution.
Maintain excellent product knowledge of menus, beverages, and dietary requirements.
Deliver first-class guest care, responding promptly and professionally to all requests.
Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event debriefs with the service team.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Assist with training and mentoring junior staff members.
Uphold and enhance the hotel's reputation for exceptional service.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Head Waiter, Senior Waiter, or Supervisor in a 5-star hotel or luxury banqueting environment (essential).
Full, clean UK driving licence and the ability to travel independently as required (essential).
Flexibility to work different shift patterns, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, in line with guest and event requirements.
Strong understanding of high-end service standards and large-scale event operations.
Confident, polished communication and guest service skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
Professional, well-presented, and reliable.
