The Role
As Junior Sous Chef, you'll work closely with the Head Chef to deliver high-quality, seasonal dishes that showcase fresh, local produce. You'll play a key role in maintaining kitchen standards, supporting junior team members, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the Head Chef with service, prep, and menu development
- Helping to lead and motivate the kitchen team
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation
- Assisting with stock control and ordering
- Contributing ideas and creativity to a regularly changing menu
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a good quality fresh food kitchen
- A genuine passion for fresh, seasonal food
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen procedures
