LOCATION Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
SALARY: £40k plus Service charge, commission & Quarterly bonus
I am delighted to be working with a unique hotel, located in Gloucestershire to find an experienced Spa Manager.
With stunning views across the Countryside grounds, the guests come from far and wide, attracted by the beauty of the wonderful surroundings or indeed just to relax, take in the fresh air and great views and delight in some fantastic food.
Here the team take pride in delivering a glorious throng of therapy and relaxation treatments to enthrall and stimulate the senses in the most luxurious surroundings.As Spa Manager, you will be part of a luxury hotel group to oversee a team of therapists and management of the busy treatment room spa operation.
We need a hands-on Spa Manager who can work with the small team to deliver treatments as required as well as focus on the daily running of the Spa. This will include driving all revenues including the Leisure Club membership for the gym as this need to grow. Spa Days and Spa Weekends are also popular and need someone who can drive the business forward and create strategy & incentives.
The Essential Skills:
* You must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of supervising and managing a team within a hotel leisure & Spa environment.
* Must have experience of managing the sales & marketing aspect of leisure club operations.
* Must be highly customer focused with excellent communication skills both face to face, on the telephone & via email.
* Ability to motivate & develop team members and to work as a team.
* Must be commercially aware, understanding the importance of working within costs & departmental budgets.
* Must be self-driven, willing to be 'hands-on' at all times and possess a passion for the leisure industry generally.
* The role will be 5 days out of 7, including some weekend work.
