The Role
As Deputy General Manager, you will work in close partnership with the General Manager to oversee the seamless delivery of Food & Beverage, Events, and Accommodation.
You will play a central role in maintaining exceptional standards, elevating the guest journey, and leading a professional, hospitality-focused team.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role, requiring a calm, confident presence and a genuine passion for luxury service.Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in the overall leadership and strategic direction of the business
- Ensure flawless service delivery across the restaurant, events, and bedrooms
- Lead, inspire, and develop a polished, guest-focused team
- Oversee standards of presentation, service consistency, and operational excellence
- Support financial performance through labour control, cost management, and revenue optimisation
- Act as a senior host and ambassador, delivering warm, intuitive, and memorable guest experiences
- Step into full operational responsibility in the absence of the General Manager
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Deputy General Manager, Senior Assistant Manager, or Hotel / Restaurant Manager within a luxury or high-end hospitality environment
- Strong background in quality restaurant operations and event delivery
- Naturally service-driven, with a refined, professional, and personable leadership style
- Commercially astute while uncompromising on quality and guest experience
- Confident managing both front-of-house excellence and behind-the-scenes operational detail
