We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a very busy, deluxe country house hotel for an experienced and commercially focused Hotel Operations Manager.
This is a high-profile leadership role within a luxury hospitality environment that combines heritage, elegance, and high-volume service. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence while maintaining exceptional guest standards.The Operations Manager Package
* A basic salary of £80'000 to £85'000

As Hotel Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership of the hotel, working closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth, efficient, and profitable performance across all departments.
Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing all hotel operations including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Events, and Guest Services
* Leading, motivating, and developing departmental managers and their teams
* Ensuring consistently high standards of guest experience and service delivery
* Driving financial performance, cost controls, and departmental KPIs
* Managing guest feedback and resolving issues with professionalism and discretion
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety, licensing, and brand standards
* Supporting strategic planning, recruitment, and staff training initiativesThe Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a confident, hands-on hospitality professional with strong leadership presence and a passion for luxury service.You will have:
* Proven experience as an Operations Manager or Deputy General Manager within a busy 4/5 hotel or country house property.
* Strong commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and KPIs
* Exceptional people management and communication skills
* A calm, organised approach in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
* A guest-focused mindset with excellent attention to detail
* Flexibility to work weekends and peak trading periods
