The Role
Reporting to the Hotel Operations Manager and General Manager, you will take full ownership of the hotel's food and beverage operation, including restaurant, bar, breakfast, events, and conferencing.
You will be a visible, hands-on leader, driving service standards, controlling costs, and developing a motivated team that consistently delivers an excellent guest experience.Responsibilities
- F&B Leadership: Oversee all food and beverage operations, ensuring smooth service and consistent brand standards.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, coach, and motivate the F&B team to perform at their best.
- Guest Experience: Deliver high-quality service across all outlets, responding to guest feedback and driving continuous improvement.
- Financial Control: Manage labour, stock, margins, and costs while maximising revenue opportunities.
- Standards & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with food safety, health & safety, and licensing regulations.
- Service Excellence: Lead from the front during busy periods, setting the tone for service and professionalism.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service flow, and overall guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an F&B Manager or strong Assistant F&B Manager within a hotel or quality hospitality environment
- A natural leader with a hands-on, energetic management style
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Commercially aware with experience managing rotas, stock, and budgets
- Organised, resilient, and calm under pressure
- Excellent communication and people skills
