Our client is seeking a highly motivated and commercially focused Assistant Sales Office Manager to join the Conference & Banqueting team at our luxury hotel located near Milton Keynes. This Monday to Friday role is ideal for a proactive sales professional who thrives on targets, enjoys converting business, and supports a high-performing proactive sales team from an office-based position.
About the Role
As an Assistant Sales Office Manager, you will play a key role in driving Conference & Banqueting revenue. While this is not a field-based role, you will be actively involved in rebook calls, conducting show rounds, converting enquiries, generating new leads, and supporting the proactive sales strategy. You will ensure all rates quoted align with the hotel's overall selling strategy and option control, protecting rate integrity while maximising revenue. From time to time, you may also attend FAM trips to support business development and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Proactive Sales and Conference & Banqueting teams with day-to-day sales operations
Handle inbound and outbound rebook calls, actively converting opportunities into confirmed business
Conduct professional hotel show rounds for conference, events, and banqueting clients
Manage and convert enquiries in line with agreed targets and KPIs
Proactively identify and generate new business leads
Ensure all rates quoted are in line with the hotel's selling strategy and option control guidelines
Prepare contracts, proposals, and confirmations to luxury brand standards
Maintain accurate records within the CRM and sales systems
Track performance against targets, deadlines, and follow-ups
Liaise closely with internal departments to ensure a seamless handover and event delivery
Occasionally attend FAM trips and sales-related events as required
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a sales office, sales coordination, or office management role, ideally within luxury hospitality or Conference & Banqueting
Proven experience working to sales targets and KPIs
Strong understanding of rate strategy, negotiation, and conversion
Confident communicator with a polished, professional approach
Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
Comfortable supporting a proactive sales team in a fast-paced environment
Strong IT skills, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle due to the hotel's location
A genuine passion for luxury service and delivering exceptional client experiences
