IMMEDIATE START
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen operation within a prestigious Business & Industry (B&I) contract in the West End. This role is ideal for a Head Chef who enjoys working in a professional, corporate environment while still having the opportunity to deliver high-end food, fine dining, and bespoke hospitality.
In addition to managing the core daytime catering operation, the Head Chef will oversee corporate events and fine dining service, including the Director's Table, delivering exceptional, restaurant-quality experiences for senior stakeholders and guests.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and inspire the kitchen team to deliver high-quality food and service across all catering offers
Plan and deliver seasonal, fresh, and innovative menus for staff dining, hospitality, and fine dining events
- Execute fine dining service for the Director's Table, ensuring exceptional presentation, precision, and attention to detail
Plan, cost, and deliver corporate events, client hospitality, and bespoke functions
Maintain full control of food costs, GP, ordering, and stock management
Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards
Maintain strict compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company procedures
Build strong relationships with clients, senior stakeholders, and on-site management
Manage staffing levels, rotas, training, and development of the kitchen team
Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer satisfaction
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef within Contract Catering / B&I
Strong background in fresh food, fine dining, and high-end hospitality
Experience delivering events and senior-level hospitality
Excellent leadership and people management skills
Strong financial awareness, including GP, food cost control, and budgeting
Up-to-date knowledge of food safety and HACCP regulations
Polished, professional approach with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
