A popular 100-cover hotel restaurant in Blackburn is searching for a passionate, hands-on Restaurant & Bar Manager to take full ownership of daily operations and lead the team toward an ambitious goal: achieving an AA Rosettes by the end of next year.
Set within a well-regarded hotel, the restaurant currently serves around 60- 100 covers per day for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with seasonal variation
We're looking for a confident manager who combines sharp operational control with genuine warmth and professionalism. You'll be a visible leader on the floor, driving service standards, training and mentoring the front-of-house team, and working closely with the Head Chef and senior management to elevate the guest experience.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
* Full responsibility for the day-to-day restaurant and bar operation
* Delivering smooth, high-quality service across all meal periods
* Leading, training and motivating the front-of-house team, ensuring a consistently high standard of guest experience
* Working closely with kitchen and hotel management on menus, service style, and events
* Driving revenue through service excellence and upselling
* Ensuring all licensing, hygiene and H&S standards are met
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience managing a quality restaurant & bar within a hotel or similar setting
* A natural leader with a hands-on approach and a sharp eye for detail
* Strong organisational skills and calm under pressure
* A genuine passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
* Experience with afternoon tea and premium dining service is an advantage
* A keen interest in food quality and service development
* Someone eager to be part of a long-term journey toward Rosette-level recognition
