We're working with a modern, four-star hotel in Nottinghamshire that's looking for a hands-on Maintenance Manager or Assistant Maintenance Manager ready to take the next step in their career.

This is a large, busy hotel operation with bedrooms, extensive meeting facilities and a full leisure and spa offering - giving you the chance to broaden your skills and make a real impact.

The Role
As Hotel Maintenance Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day maintenance across the entire property. You'll lead from the front, ensuring the hotel is safe, compliant and operating at the highest standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing all reactive and planned maintenance across the hotel
* Managing maintenance for bedrooms, public areas, meeting spaces and leisure facilities
* Supporting pool plant and spa operations
* Recommending and supporting larger project works
* Delivering smaller projects in-house where appropriate
* Ensuring full compliance with health & safety and fire regulations
* Supporting and developing the maintenance team

What We're Looking For
This role is ideal for a Hotel Maintenance professional with longevity in their roles who is now ready to step into a management position.

You'll ideally have:
* Experience as an Maintenance or Assistant Maintenance Manager role within a hotel or large property
* Practical knowledge across general maintenance disciplines
* Understanding of pool plant, health & safety, and fire regulations
* Strong administrative skills, including risk assessments and compliance records
* Commercial awareness and the ability to work within budgets
* Good IT, numeracy, and literacy skills
* A hands-on, organised, and team-focused approach
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Flexibility to work 40 hours, 5 out of 7, including call-outs
