The Opportunity
As Assistant Hotel Manager, you will be a key figure in the day-to-day running of the hotel, with a strong focus on Rooms Division and Front Office operations.
This is a hands-on role where you'll lead from the front-supporting your team, enhancing guest experiences, and ensuring operational excellence across departments. Given the independent nature of the business, you'll gain broad exposure and play a genuine part in shaping the hotel's success.
What We're Looking For
Our client is seeking a confident, personable leader with strong operational experience:
- At least 2 years' experience as an Operations Manager or Rooms Division Manager
- Proven background in 4-star (or above) hotels-both large and independent properties preferred
- Demonstrated success managing teams of 20+ staff for a minimum of 2 years within one property
- Solid experience using Opera Cloud PMS
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
Desirable:
- Exposure to Food & Beverage operations
