Premium Events & Catering Business - Bristol/Cardiff
JWR is delighted to be partnering with a high-growth, premium events and catering business delivering over 700 weddings, corporate events and private celebrations annually.
We are seeking an exceptional Operations Director to take full strategic and operational ownership of a large-scale, multi-site events operation, working closely with the Founder & Managing Director to drive growth, performance and long-term scalability.The Package

As Operations Director, you will sit on the senior leadership team with full accountability for operational strategy, delivery and financial performance across the business.
You will lead a workforce of 120+ employees, overseeing high-volume event delivery while building a robust, scalable operational infrastructure to support continued growth.
You will:
* Define and deliver the operational strategy aligned with business expansion plans
* Take full ownership of operational P&L (£4m+ revenue)
* Lead and develop a senior management team across operations, logistics and events
* Drive consistency, service excellence and quality standards across 700+ annual events
* Implement scalable systems, structures and reporting frameworks
* Oversee workforce planning, resource strategy and organisational design
* Optimise cost control, procurement and operational efficiencies
* Work closely with Sales and Creative teams to ensure commercial alignment and delivery feasibility
* Provide strategic insight, forecasting and performance reporting to the Founder & MDThe Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience at Operations Director or senior leadership level within catering, events or hospitality
* Track record of leading large-scale, high-volume operations
* Experience managing senior leadership teams and multi-layered structures
* Strong commercial acumen with full P&L accountability
* Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into operational delivery
* Deep understanding of logistics, planning and large-scale event execution
* Data-driven with strong analytical and reporting capability
