Salary: £39,000 + potential 10% performance bonus
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a confident and driven Food & Beverage professional to step into a key leadership role as Food and Beverage Manager, covering maternity leave within a well-established hotel operation.
This position is ideal for an ambitious Assistant F&B Manager or strong F&B Supervisor looking to take the next step and gain valuable hands-on management experience. You'll be supported by an experienced team but will need the confidence and leadership ability to hit move straight into the role and maintain high standards throughout.
The Role:
As Food and Beverage Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Food and Beverage department in this 4 star hotel including the restaurant, with a focus on breakfast and dinner service, working alongside an established Assistant F&B Manager who oversees the bar. The business is particularly busy at weekends and features several meeting rooms, adding variety to the role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support the restaurant team to deliver consistent, high-quality service
* Maintain and enhance service standards across breakfast and evening dining
* Work closely with a strong breakfast team and oversee casual staff in the evenings
* Ensure smooth service during peak weekend periods
* Support the wider F&B operation, including meetings and events
About You:
* Currently an Assistant F&B Manager or F&B Supervisor ready to step up
* A confident, hands-on leader
* Able to adapt quickly and work effectively with an established team
* Passionate about delivering excellent service and maintaining high standards
* Proactive, energetic and eager to take on responsibility
