The Role
As Operations Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day leadership of the hotel, ensuring the highest standards of guest service, operational efficiency and team engagement across all departments.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will oversee hotel operations, drive service standards and support departmental managers to achieve commercial and operational objectives.
Key responsibilities include:- Leading daily hotel operations across accommodation, food and beverage, guest services and events
- Driving exceptional guest satisfaction and consistently high service standards
- Supporting, coaching and developing departmental managers and their teams
- Monitoring operational performance and implementing continuous improvements
- Managing staffing levels, rotas and labour costs effectively
- Ensuring compliance with all health, safety and licensing requirements
- Handling guest feedback and resolving issues professionally and efficiently
- Supporting revenue growth through proactive operational management
- Collaborating with senior leadership on budgets, forecasting and business planning
- Maintaining strong communication and teamwork across all departments
Requirements
The successful candidate will be an experienced hospitality leader with a hands-on management style and a genuine passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.
You will have:- Previous experience as an Operations Manager, Hotel Manager or senior departmental leader within a quality hotel environment
- Strong understanding of hotel operations across rooms, food and beverage and guest services
- Excellent leadership, communication and team development skills
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, labour costs and operational KPIs
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- The ability to inspire teams and create a positive working culture
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and peak trading periods when required
